Sky lake fisheries is now under new management.

This year Andy and Rob with the help of our 24hr English bailiff will strive to give all of our customers the best fishing experience we can. We are happy to help and advise on baiting approach, location and rig information both prior to your holiday and whilst at the lake.
As part of our ongoing stocking programme we have introduced 40 new Carp up to 37lb boosting the already very impressive head of fish that we have. The current lake record is Mr T at 71lb 14oz, there are many more 50lbs+ and lots of 40lbs+ with hundreds of those nuisance 20lbs and 30lbs carp.
The Lodge as had an extensive refurbishment. The repositioning of the kitchen has made a large communal area and dining area. New flooring has been laid throughout and new walk in showers will be ready to use by the end of May. Don’t worry we still have an operational shower in the lodge so you can wash down after handling one of sky lake’s resident leviathans.

A note to anglers on all inclusive holidays there is a limit of 5kg of bait per person, as there is limited space in the trailer and bus. All particles for all inclusive and drive and survive holidays are to be purchased at the fishery. Our particles are freshly cooked and can be delivered to your swim for £2.00 per kg. Using our particles not only provides us with peace of mind that the bait has been correctly prepared but is also a tried, tested and successful way to catch fish!

We have special deals on holidays in June and July so please phone for availability. This year there is a chance of one lucky person per week winning a free holiday. For a £10 entrance fee you have the chance of winning a week’s holiday. All you need to do is catch the biggest carp that week. (Holidays won are like for like, if you are on a Drive & Survive you win a Drive & Survive.)

The first few weeks of the season have seen a number of carp caught. Paul Radford’s party have done well with 17 fish, the biggest to Dom with a 44lb 10oz mirror. The week before Geoff Howes had a super result with 15 carp the biggest one being 47lb 2oz and others at 41lb, 39lb, 32lb, great angling mate!
